ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why can't I login to Torzon Market?

Login issues on Torzon Market are typically caused by one of three factors: DDoS protection measures, incorrect clock synchronization, or Phishing. First, ensure your Tor Browser is updated. Second, check our Status Page to see if the main login gateway is under maintenance. If you suspect your password was phished, contact support immediately using your PGP key for verification.

Is 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) mandatory?

While not strictly mandatory for buyers, PGP 2FA is highly recommended for all users and mandatory for Vendors. Enabling 2FA ensures that even if a hacker steals your password, they cannot access your wallet funds without your private PGP key. To enable it, go to Account Settings > Security > Enable 2FA.

Does Torzon keep logs of my activity?

No. Torzon Market operates on a strict "No-Logs" policy. All server logs are piped to /dev/null. Transaction data is retained only for the duration of the Escrow period (usually 14 days) to handle potential disputes. Once an order is finalized, all shipping info and chat logs are automatically wiped from the database after 72 hours.

My Monero (XMR) deposit hasn't arrived. Why?

Monero deposits on Torzon require 10 blockchain confirmations before they appear in your balance. This usually takes about 20-40 minutes depending on network load. If you sent funds from an exchange, they might batch transactions, causing delays. Always refresh your wallet page after 1 hour. If funds are still missing, check the transaction hash on a block explorer.

Which cryptocurrency is safer: Bitcoin or Monero?

We strongly recommend using Monero (XMR). Unlike Bitcoin (BTC), which has a transparent public ledger traceable by chain analysis firms, Monero uses ring signatures and stealth addresses to completely obfuscate the sender, receiver, and amount. Using XMR is the industry standard for darknet OpSec.

Is there a withdrawal fee?

Yes, but it is minimal. Torzon Market charges a dynamic network fee to cover the blockchain transaction cost (miner fee), plus a flat 1% withdrawal fee to support server infrastructure. This ensures your withdrawal is processed with high priority.

What is the Torzon Escrow System?

The Escrow System is your primary protection against scams. When you place an order, your coins are held in a neutral market wallet, not sent directly to the vendor. The vendor only receives the funds after you click "Finalize Order" confirming you have received the product. If the product never arrives, you can open a Dispute.

What does FE (Finalize Early) mean?

FE (Finalize Early) means releasing the funds to the vendor before you receive the goods. This is a privilege reserved for highly trusted, top-tier vendors. Warning: Only FE if you trust the vendor implicitly. FE orders are not protected by Escrow disputes.

How do I open a Dispute?

If your order has not arrived by the auto-finalization date, go to the "Orders" page and click the "Dispute" button. This freezes the timer and summons a Torzon Moderator. You will need to provide proof (e.g., lack of tracking updates) or explain the situation. The moderator will decide to either refund you or release funds to the vendor.
