Incident & Maintenance Logs
Transparency is key to the Torzon Market philosophy. Below is the detailed log of all network incidents, planned maintenance, and status updates regarding Torzon uptime. If you are experiencing issues such as "Torzon not working" or "Login failed", please check the logs below before contacting support.
DDoS Mitigation & Network Stability
A common question among new users is "Is Torzon down?". Often, what appears to be downtime is actually our EndGame Protection system filtering out malicious traffic. Like all major darknet hubs, Torzon Market is a target for massive DDoS attacks aimed at disrupting trade.
When the main URL is under heavy load, the server may present a "502 Bad Gateway" or a CAPTCHA loop. This is a defensive mechanism. In such cases, the backend is fully operational; only the entry node is congested. We strongly recommend using one of the verified Torzon Mirrors listed on our Links page to bypass the congested node. Our uptime record for the core database remains at 99.98% for the current fiscal year.
Planned System Maintenance
To ensure the highest level of security, Torzon engineers perform scheduled maintenance twice a month. These windows are used to update the server OS, patch potential vulnerabilities in the Tor daemon, and upgrade the cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure (Monero/Bitcoin nodes).
Next Scheduled Maintenance:
October 25, 2024 - 03:00 UTC
Expected Duration: 45 Minutes. PGP 2FA logins may be briefly unavailable.
Troubleshooting "Torzon Login Failed"
If the status indicator above shows "OPERATIONAL" but you still cannot log in, the issue is likely client-side. The most common reasons for Torzon login issues include:
- Clock Synchronization: Tor requires your system time to be accurate to within seconds.
- Tor Circuit Rot: Your current Tor circuit may be too slow. Use Ctrl+Shift+L to build a new circuit.
- Phishing URL: Ensure you are not on a phishing site. Phishing sites often simulate a "Login Failed" error to steal your credentials. Always verify the PGP signature.
Wallet & Deposit Status
Torzon Market operates a custodial wallet system with cold storage security. The status of cryptocurrency nodes is critical for deposit and withdrawal processing.
Bitcoin (BTC) Status
The Bitcoin mempool is monitored 24/7. Currently, the Torzon BTC Node requires 2 confirmations for a deposit to appear in your balance. During times of high network congestion, this may take up to 60 minutes.
Monero (XMR) Status
Monero is the preferred currency on Torzon due to its privacy features. The XMR node is fully synchronized. If your XMR deposit is not showing up, ensure you have not used an "Exchange" that blocks darknet transfers.
